In my head, I haven't even started on my spooky season watchlist this year just yet. But I think my Letterboxd diary would say otherwise. My list of films I want to watch is always a million times longer than my watched, but there are some great ones in here already. And spooky season has only just begun!
Of note so far, Clock and also the REC films which I had never actually seen! Equally, the I have been through the V/H/S series for the first time - I would recommend you watch the first two but skip out on viral, as you can see from my 1-star review. My first spooky season cinema trip was to see A Haunting in Venice which I enjoyed immensely - you can read my review here. Evil Dead Rise also was incredible and I have a lot to say about that I haven't got on paper yet! If you'd seen it you'll notice the background of these images I put together based off that film.
A couple of rogue ones like When The Lights Went Out on the list too. I actually enjoyed that film despite it being really bizarre and quite jarring to watch. We also started watching the Hell House LLC series and again, I was suprised that I enjoyed it. I'm a clown hater, and this film properly freaked me out... I can't wait to watch the others in the series! Finally, the new Saw X movie was a special trip to the cinema for me and my friend this week. Surprised to say that I actually thought it was really good! Again, lots to say that will be coming soon.
